Where the calories live

The tequila brings the biggest share of the calories here, about 53 percent of the batch, with the liquid allulose next in line.

The low sugar secret

Liquid allulose does the sweetening work of sugar with a fraction of the calories, which helps this one freeze soft while staying light.

Want a lighter pour

Pour a smaller glass and top it with sparkling water. The flavor stretches and the landing gets gentler.

Frequently asked questions

What are the three batch sizes?

For 2 to 3 servings: 1⅔ cups sugar free margarita drink mix, 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons water, ¼ cup tequila, and 3 tablespoons liquid allulose. For 4 to 6 servings: 2¼ cups mix, 1⅔ cups water, ⅓ cup tequila, and ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons allulose. For 6 to 8 servings: 3¼ cups mix, 2¼ cups water, ½ cup tequila, and ½ cup allulose.

Why does a sugar free slush need allulose?

Slush needs dissolved sweetener solids to freeze into soft crystals instead of a solid block. Liquid allulose supplies those solids without sugar, which is what keeps this margarita scoopable and smooth.

Can I make it without tequila?

Yes. Leave the tequila out, add the same amount of water, and run the SLUSH preset for an alcohol free lime slush.

Why chill everything first?

Cold liquid reaches slush texture faster and more evenly, so the batch spends less time churning and more time in your glass.
