Where the calories live
The tequila brings the biggest share of the calories here, about 44 percent of the batch, with the triple sec next in line.
A dual vessel showpiece: a color changing butterfly pea flower margarita in one vessel and a golden mango margarita in the other, dispensed together with a smoked salt rim.
This is the one you make when you want gasps at the table; two margaritas pour side by side, colours shifting as they meet, over a smoked salt rim. It is theatre and refreshment in one glass, made for dinner parties, date nights, and anyone who loves a little drama.
A few simple ingredients for a big, delicious idea.
Stir 1 cup hot water and 1 cup sugar until dissolved. Add ½ cup dried butterfly pea flowers, stir, and let the syrup steep and cool. It keeps well in the fridge and this batch yields extra.
Add the tequila, triple sec, and lime juice to Vessel 1. Pour the butterfly pea flower simple syrup in last and watch the color change. The amounts in the ingredient list are the 4 serving size: for 2 servings use ⅓ cup tequila, 1½ tablespoons triple sec, ⅓ cup lime juice, and 2½ tablespoons syrup; for 6 servings use 1 cup tequila, ¼ cup triple sec, 1 cup lime juice, and ½ cup syrup.
In a pitcher or large bowl, whisk together the mango margarita ingredients until fully combined, then pour into Vessel 2. For 2 servings use ⅓ cup tequila, 1½ tablespoons triple sec, ⅔ cup mango purée, 2½ tablespoons lime juice, ⅓ cup cold water, and 1½ tablespoons agave; for 6 servings use 1 cup tequila, ¼ cup triple sec, 2 cups purée, ½ cup lime juice, 1¼ cups cold water, and ¼ cup agave.
Select the DUAL SLUSHASSIST button in the center of the control panel to activate it in both vessels. The unit senses the ingredients for 10 to 15 minutes and sets the texture for each drink, displaying in blue on the temperature range.
Once the frozen drinks reach the right temperature, the unit will beep, all the LEDs will be solid blue, and the ready indicator will illuminate. Adjust as needed using the temperature control buttons.
Place a cup in the center of the drip tray and dispense by gently pulling the middle handle while spinning the drip tray using the front wheel. Release the handle when the cup is ¾ full so both colors land in every glass.
Rim with smoked salt, garnish with dehydrated lime, and serve immediately.

A proper frozen cocktail: bright, cold, and unapologetically boozy.

The pour is part of the flavor and part of the math: about 52 percent of the calories in every glass come from the alcohol itself.
Pour a smaller glass and top it with sparkling water. The flavor stretches and the landing gets gentler.

Batch totals run under 20 minutes for 2 servings, under 35 minutes for 4 servings, and under 40 minutes for 6 servings. The sensing phase alone takes 10 to 15 minutes while the unit reads both vessels.
Butterfly pea flower syrup is deep blue on its own and shifts toward violet and pink as it meets the lime juice. Pouring it in last lets you watch the color change happen in the vessel.
Yes. Either margarita works on its own in a single vessel; the mango batch and the butterfly pea batch are each complete recipes at the 2, 4, and 6 serving sizes.
A gentle smoky savoriness that plays against both the floral citrus of Vessel 1 and the tropical sweetness of Vessel 2. Plain flaky sea salt is a fine stand in.
